With all the obsessing over TBRs and upcoming releases that we do, it was fun to come across some posts about books that people aren’t reading. I swiped this tag from Sara over at the Bibliophagist. You can find the original here.

A really hyped book you’re not interested in reading:

Book Cover: Girl, Wash Your Face

The ever-present and enormous-titled Girl, Wash Your Face: Stop Believing the Lies about Who You Are So You Can Become Who You Were Meant to Be by Rachel Hollis.

This one isn’t “hyped” by bloggers as much as it is shoved in my face at every Target and Barnes and Noble I’ve been to in the last two years. Everything about it irritates me (for some good reasons and some petty/ridiculous reasons). I would read almost anything before I would pick this up, unless someone were to pay me to parody it.

A series you won’t start/won’t be finishing

Book Cover: Caraval

I read Stephanie Garber’s Caraval months ago and still haven’t reviewed it… that’s how tired I am of the entire thing.

A classic you’re not interested in

Book Cover: Moby-Dick

Why lie? I’m never going to even attempt Moby-Dick.

A book on your shelves you’ll probably never actually read

Book Cover: The Hunchback of Notre Dame

I like to think I’ll get to them all eventually, but that’s a lie every blogger tells themself. I have to say The Hunchback of Notre Dame, which I picked up as research for a project that I’ve since shelved. Unless I go back to that project, I doubt I’ll open that thing again.

I’m only tagging Melanie and Purple Manatees here, but if you like the tag, feel free to grab it. Make sure to link back to me so that I can read your responses!
